Annual sketch = diff% × max(0, payor − recipient). Monthly = annual ÷ 12. Duration sketch uses marriage-year × band factor.
Example scenario
Payor $135,000, recipient $48,000, 40% difference → gap $87,000 → ~$34,800/year (~$2,900/month). Fourteen-year marriage → mid-band duration sketch.
