How to use this calculator
- Enter swim distance in yards or meters (stay consistent).
- Enter elapsed minutes and seconds.
- Read pace per 100 and per 50.
- Pool length only affects split count, not pace math.
Results explained
Pace per 100 = elapsed × 100 / distance. SCY vs SCM is whatever unit you typed; there is no automatic conversion.
Quick reference: swim pace
100 in 1:30 is 1:30/100 and 0:45/50.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Per 100 | time × 100 / distance |
| Per 50 | half of /100 time |
| 200 pace | double the /100 time for even splits |
| Units | do not mix yards and meters in one row |
No CSS or USRPT tables on this page.
How the estimate is built
pace100 = elapsed_seconds × 100 / distance; pace50 = pace100 / 2.
Example scenario
100 in 1:30 → 1:30 /100.
FAQ
Should I enter yards or meters?
Use the same unit your pool is marked in for that set.
How is running pace different?
Running pages divide time by miles or km; swim pace is per 100 of pool units.
Does pool length change pace?
No. A 25 m pool vs 50 m pool does not change /100 math if distance is total meters swum.
