Results explained
Cost is simply kWh × rate. The optional day field only divides that total for a daily average — it does not change the period charge.

Tiered and time-of-use plans mean one average rate can misstate peak hours.
How the estimate is built
Energy charge = kWh × ($/kWh). Daily average = energy charge ÷ days (when days > 0).
Example scenario
900 kWh at $0.16/kWh over 30 days is $144.00 (~$4.80/day) for the energy line alone.
FAQ
Why doesn’t this match my bill total?
Bills add fixed customer charges, taxes, riders, and sometimes demand fees. This page only multiplies usage × energy rate.
Supply vs delivery?
If your bill splits them, add both per-kWh lines (or use the blended average) for a closer energy charge.
Can I price one appliance?
Yes — watts × hours ÷ 1,000 = kWh, then use that as the usage input.
